Please post all the little things that make no sense about the JWs
by Aussie Oz ini want to collect a bunch of things that i can use to help my son see that the wbts and being a jw makes no sense.. i have a few in mind already.
they have to be things that might matter to a teenager, so doctrine will probably be out!.

That is another stupid thing. elders get to make up extra rules based on the area. we had if a girl and boy were in a car alone one had to sit in the back seat. No shorts to gatherings, even in the summer.

Did you Fade Gradually or Stop Attending Meetings Quickly ? Reasons ?
by flipper inbeen thinking about this and curious about what makes us all come to the decisions we came to in our fade/exiting the jw organization.. i think for myself having been born-in & raised a jw my doubts about the generation doctrine had simmered for years within me quietly and by the time i finally left in 2003 i had reached my breaking point.
also seeing unjust treatment of rank & file witness ( myself included ) just propelled me into my decision even quicker.
so - one day after meeting with 3 elders in a back room before a meeting and seeing their judgmental aggression towards me - i just told myself " enough is enough ".

Quick fade 2 1/2 years ago 0 meedings - did OK with it until last month the elders wanted to meet with me decided I never want there noses in my face again so wrote a note and it will be announced this Thursday... not sure what took them so long I wrote it over two weeks ago?

by Found Sheep injust had 2 elders invite me to my judicial meeding about my marriage of two years.
they think my husband was not legaly divorced.
but he was and i had 3 lawyers tell me he was.

just got an e-mail from the "nice" elder asking if I truly don't want to be know as JW.... What how obvious do I need to make it! slam door on 2 elders and then write a note?!?!?!? Wrote a quick e-mail back basicly telling him he is the one lost not me...

help.. urgently a friend has spirits in her house priest removed then can they come to me if she s in my home.
by suzanne.dickenson inplease advise i was brought up as a witness and know the faith of jehovah very well i choose not to follow my dad as a witness as i didnt like the way he taught me the truth hence i know its true.. we are having a party at our house for chikdren ans a mum at the school has been invited she told me shes devestated as she has a ghost and its touching the kids on the landing................. i t freaked me out oviously its saturn the devil or his spirits, i came home said a prayer to jehovah as i do quite often to protect us etc.
if she arrives at my hpome can the spirts come here, please advise as i dont want to put my family inthis situation , she has told me a priest has taken it away... i dont believe it............ my dad is a elder of the congregation hence we dont speak, he always taught me stay well away and youll be ok, so even though its gone from herehouae id love your thoughst so i can maybe cancell her calling, i certainly wouldnt keep any gift from her in my home... many thanks suzanne dickenson.. .

What's the Importance of ''Titles" with Jehovah Witnesses ?

i'm like ''baby if you want to come back than just be a ''pioneer at heart " get the 50 to 70 hours without the ''title''.
can someone with privileges ( past elders, ministerial servants, pioneers, or bethelites etc.

Cults like to use reward and punish to control. The Better you are the bigger your Title will be but beware if you mess up cuz it will be taken away from you. It makes them think you are more spiritual and sometimes will make you think you are more spiritual this is all good for the cult cuz now they have you

Elders Can Hide their Own Sins from the Past-Yet Continue as Elders? Read
by flipper ini was shocked ( though i probably shouldn't have been ) when reading the new elders manual concerning whether elders have to confess up about former sins from a few years earlier.
notice this on pg.
38 , paragraph 19 : it states, " if it comes to light or an appointed brother confesses that he has committed a disfellowshipping offense years in the past : the body of elders may determine he can continue to serve if the following is true : the immorality or other serious wrongdoing occured more than a few years ago, and he is genuinely repentant, recognizing that he should have come forward immediately when he sinned.
